Production process of battery case

 

The production process of battery steel case: steel strip → electroplating nickel → diffusion heat treatment → steel strip slitting → finished product. 1. Powder electrostatic spraying process:

 

The working principle of powder electrostatic spraying technology is almost the same as the electrostatic spraying method of general liquid paint, the difference is that powder spraying is dispersed rather than atomized. It is a coating sprayed by an electrostatic powder spray gun, which makes the powder particles negatively charged while being dispersed. The charged powder particles act on the grounded aluminum case of the power lithium battery through airflow and electrostatic attraction, and then heat, melt and solidify to form a film.

 

2. Electrophoretic coating process:

 

The electrophoretic coating process is a coating method that uses an external electric field to cause the particles such as pigments and resins suspended in the electrophoretic solution to migrate in a directional manner and deposit on the surface of the substrate of one of the electrodes. It has the characteristics of water solubility, non-toxicity, and easy automatic control. After the electrophoretic coating process, the aluminum case of the power lithium battery has a soft surface gloss and can resist the acid rain invasion of cement and mortar.

 

3. Electrochemical surface ceramic technology;

 

The aluminum casing of the power lithium-ion battery pack adopts plasma-enhanced electrochemical surface ceramic technology, which is of good quality but high cost. The profiles produced by this process have more than 20 colors. The biggest feature is that they can be the same as printed cloth. The surface of the profiles is brightly colored and the decorative effect is the best.

 

4. Grinding process:

 

Frosted aluminum profiles can prevent light interference from bright aluminum profiles in certain environments and conditions in architectural decoration. Its surface is as delicate and soft as brocade, which is favored by the market. However, the existing frosted materials must overcome the defects of uneven sand grains and visible patterns on the surface.
