Main Welding Line

 

Main welding line of the vehicle body is composed of frame, engine cover, trunk cover and the welding assembly of doors. While the frame structure is composed of floor welding assembly, front longeron on the left and right and wheel housing assembly, the left and right side welding assembly, the front welding assembly, rear dam-board, longeron on the left and right side and the rear wheel housing assembly and rear welding assembly.

 

Automobile body welding production line is one of the important production lines in the production process of cars, minibuses and other models. From the perspective of the development history of the automobile industry, the body welding line has experienced manual welding lines in the 1950s and 1960s to automated rigid welding in the 1970s. Assembly line - the stage of robotic flexible welding assembly line after the 1980s.

 

As far as each welding line is concerned, it is composed of welding process, transmission device, welding equipment (welding torch, welding robot); as far as the entire automobile body welding line is concerned, it generally includes the body side wall assembly line, body door Cover assembly line, floor assembly line, body welding main line, etc. (there is no absolute summary yet). In the initial stage of automobile development, straight-through production lines (simplified through-type production lines) were mainly used. In the 1960s and 1970s, accompanying fixture production lines were used more often, but due to the large size, complex structure and large motion inertia of the accompanying fixtures , It is difficult to realize the shortcomings of multi-variety production and the supporting use of robots. Therefore, in the middle and late 1970s, major automobile manufacturers improved the through-type production lines. The through-type production line means that the positioning and clamping device (fixture) of the workpiece is separated from the transmission device between the stations. Lifting support rod reciprocating welding line is a commonly used through-type production line. This production line mainly includes the following parts: workpiece clamping and positioning system, transmission device between stations and conveying rod lifting system.
